Are you looking for inspiration?
Do you want to meet practitioners working together in local sustainability initiatives from all over North West Europe?
... then block your diary on Wednesday November 21 and come to the city of Ghent for a special transition experience……!
The energy systems in our cities are in transition. Energy security is a very important and strategic issue. The big question is: how can we accelerate and steer the transition towards a more sustainable city?
In the MUSIC project, frontrunners within city administrations, local companies and local neighbourhoods in Aberdeen (UK), Ghent (BE), Ludwigsburg (DE), Montreuil (FR) and Rotterdam (NL)are working together to set a local transition agenda and initiate transition projects in their city, assisted by the Dutch Research Institute for Transitions DRIFT This transition process is supported with energy maps using GIS software, developed by Research Institute Henri Tudor.
On November 21st the cities will share their results, findings and the process that got them were they are today.
More information about the programme and registration will follow in mid September. Check us out at www.themusicproject.eu
