This second Energy Day for Local Authorities will focus on better working towards a sustainable energy policy. With presentations on current developments and how they can translate into local administrative practice, with concrete examples of what pioneer municipalities already been achieved.
Target group : The Energy Day is intended for technical officers and energy specialists.
Topics : Covenant of Mayors, local vision of sustainability, how to work on 'transition', passive and low-energy buildings, fast savings in building management, public lighting, sustainable neighborhoods, energy techniques for dummies, windmills, smart cities or smart cities with smart meters and grids, electric cars and bikes and charging stations, natural gas vehicles, sustainable local mobility policy, experiences of CPAS and LAC and distribution to public service obligations, regionalization of FRGE (social green loans, etc.) Alongside this, study visits throughout Ghent have been organised to see some examples in practice.
