Covenant of Mayors Office
63-67 Rue d’Arlon
On the 21st March 2013 at 10 AM (Brussels GMT+1) the Joint Research Centre (JRC) will host a webinar in collaboration with Covenant of Mayors Office (CoMO) on the grouped SEAP evaluation process, supported by Covenant Territorial Coordinator (CTC).
This webinar will provide an overview on the role CTCs can play in the development and analysis of SEAPs.In several cases, CTCs have taken over the responsibility for developing local authorities’ action plans and for producing, testing and validating specific guidelines and/or SEAP models, which serve as a reference to signatories. In such cases, the JRC proposes to carry out an analysis of the common methodology developed by the CTC and to analyse some representative SEAPs indicated by the territorial coordinators. The scope of this approach is to empower the Coordinator of a group of municipalities to assist and support signatories in assimilating and implementing the recommendations provided by the JRC on the methodology and the representative SEAPs. The Webinar aims at giving guidelines and support to the technical officers of CTCs.
To that end : Paolo Zancanella and Giulia Melica from the European Commission, JRC:
- will present the role and the commitments of CTCs in the SEAP process, and the JRC’ssupport to the CTCs
- will describe the main process and instructions to be followed by the CTCs to make sure the municipalities effectively receive and implement the overall SEAP feedback provided by the JRC
A link to join the webinar is provided on the homepage of the Covenant of Mayors Extranet/My Covenant section, which Covenant Coordinators can access with their profile login information. An instruction document on how to take part in the webinar will also be available in this location. The webinar will be held in English, and participation is limited to an estimated 100 people.
Looking forward to welcoming you online !
