Make your City smarter with local RES: Implementing Geothermal in Cities

The building sector is one of the most important energy consumers in Europe. Geothermal Energy offers a huge potential for energy saving, up to 70% compared to traditional Heating and cooling systems. The IEE-funded project focuses on the removal of non-technical administrative barriers at local and regional level.

The European Geothermal Energy Council, on behalf of the REGEOCITIES project invites you to a workshop on the successful implementation of geothermal in cities.

The workshop topics cover:

·         Understanding and removing local barriers

·         Building effective local regulatory systems

·         Case studies from around Europe
