Sostituzione di caldaie a combustibili fossili con caldaie a biomasse
Covenant of Mayors Office
63-67 Rue d’Arlon
In conclusion of the Intelligent Energy Project NET-COM the workshop will feel the pulse of the Covenant of Mayors in Italy, discuss exemplary approaches and priorities for the local and regional energy policies. The experience of Venice, Naples, Bologna, Padua, Cefalù and the Province of Torino will be presented.
Point of departure will be the immense wealth of more than 1600 Sustainable Energy Action Plans that have been elaborated in Italy. What role do they play for an integrated local sustainable development, what could be their role for the energy policies of the Regions and the national state? A second point of discussion will be the integration of adaptation to climate change in an integrated local climate policy with the strategy of Frankfurt as a good practice in point.
The conference is being organized by three big networks working on local climate policies, Climate Alliance Italy, the national coordination of Local Agenda 21 and Kyoto Club in the firm conviction that the future of the Covenant of Mayors in Italy requires an effective collaboration of coordinators, supporters and signatories in the framework of a national coordination to move into the second phase of implementation and monitoring that is now on the agenda of this important project.
