Covenant of Mayors Office
63-67 Rue d’Arlon
The implementation of the nearly two thousand Italian SEAPs requires political will and capacity on the part of local governments but also the framework conditions of empowerment for action. The European Commission here has a central role in this covenant with cities and towns and so do the national governments.
In this thematic workshop co-organized by the Covenant of Mayors Office, the new phase of the Covenant in the period 2014-2020 will be at the centre of attention in the context of an intelligent development strategy with ambitious goals that go beyond 2020 with a conclusion “from the ground”, illustrating the progress Rome is making as a signatory to he Covenant.
- This workshop also includes the A+CoM Award Ceremony 2014.
