Covenant of Mayors Office
63-67 Rue d’Arlon
There are many good reasons for municipalities and actors within a region to join forces in the fight against climate change: they benefit from synergies, save human and financial resources, tap into regional potentials and can offer a wider range of services. How such a successful cooperation can best be shaped will be at the centre stage of this workshop, taking place in the framework of the International Conference on Climate Action 2015 in Germany.
Examples from the Covenant of Mayors Group Intercommunale IGEMO (Belgium) and the Covenant of Mayors Territorial Coordinator Diputacion de Huelva (Spain) will be supplemented by good practice from Germany and the US. The participants will receive the chance to exchange in a World Café style dialogue on key questions such as: What can we achieve together that we cannot achieve otherwise? How to organise cooperation and keep it going? What are the challenges of cooperation within a region, and where to get support?
- Register here for the workshop and the conference! Both are free of charge.
