Welcome to Lisbon, European Green Capital 2020!

The European Commission’s Directorate-General for Environment and the City of Lisbon cordially invite you to Lisbon’s European Green Capital Award Handover and Opening Ceremony event on Friday, 10 January 2020 at 15:00 in Lisbon, Portugal.

This event will officially start Lisbon’s year as European Green Capital 2020 when Oslo hands over the ‘green baton’ and title of European Green Capital to Lisbon.
