Restoration of urban ecosystems made easy

CITIES TALK NATURE is a community of practice made up of municipalities and interested organizations in Latin America and Europe. Its goal is to promote the restoration of ecosystems in cities and communities on both sides of the Atlantic through nature-based solutions. The event series stimulates exchange on practical examples, provides access to new methods and approaches, and lays a foundation for green and livable cities.

In this launch event, you will experience the interactive game Renaturing Pathways, developed by United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) together with UNDRR and UN-Habitat, followed by practical examples from the city of Chemnitz (Germany) and CBIMA, a group of municipalities along the biological corridor María Aguilar (Costa Rica) on their beginnings with ecosystem restoration.
