Signatories: If you want to stay part of the movement, make sure to renew your commitment!

If your municipality has committed to the 2020 targets of the Covenant of Mayors, you need to renew your commitment to stay part of the movement. 

If you want to stay part of the world's largest movement of local leaders committed to energy and climate action, please make sure to submit the latest version of the Political Commitment! You will find the document in all languages in our online library.

2050 vision, new political commitment document

The previous version of the commitment document (2030) will no longer be accepted after 30 June.

On 21 April, the Covenant of Mayors in Europe has launched its 2050 vision, reflected in a new political commitment document. This is now the only document you need to submit to join or stay part of the Covenant of Mayors.
