Opening today! An opportunity to apply to the new Covenant of Mayors peer learning programme; to network, to engage, to act on your climate and energy challenges.
The new programme builds on the success of the Covenant of Mayors twinning programme, and offers cities (including small towns and villages, and those in rural locations), coordinators and energy agencies across Europe the opportunity to take part in exchanges that aim to increase their capacity and knowledge through tailored peer discussions to tackle their climate and energy challenges!
Small signatories, including towns, villages and municipalities located in metropolitan or rural areas are particularly encouraged to apply to all our programmes.
In 2021, the Covenant Office supported 45 cities, 6 coordinators, and 4 energy agencies, connecting with each other to improve their capacities to design and implement their local action plans.
The Covenant of Mayors is launching four tailored programmes targeting those at various stages of the climate adaptation and mitigation journey: twinning, expert mission, peer review, and technical assistance. Each programme has been designed to cater to the different needs of our CoMmunity, offering exchanges that aim to increase participants’ capacity to mitigate and adapt to climate change, to develop and implement ambitious long-term strategies as well as to address energy poverty. Each programme offers something unique.
Deadline extended to 15 April 17:00
